Pramod Apshankar is a qualified engineer with long experience in product development, manufacturing engineering and quality systems. In Stud Craft (India) Pvt. Ltd., he is the key person responsible for technical development and corporate planning.

Pramod Apshankar obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1974. He worked with Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., Pune for seven years in the capacity of Manager - Production Planning.

In 1980, Pramod Apshankar founded Stud Craft (India) Pvt. Ltd. with the intention of developing and manufacturing the product - Weld Stud, which was perceived to be having a great demand in domestic and international market. The beginning was humble with a single automatic lathe in a rented shed.

Through sustained efforts in maintaining quality and supplies, the business grew. Soon there was
clamour for more space, machines and workmen. Stud Craft (India) Pvt. Ltd. acquired land at Arvi village, Pune where sizable manufacturing capacity was established.

Customer satisfaction has always been a goal at Stud Craft (India) Pvt. Ltd. The company has been particular in maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules all along. Excellent personnel relations is a major strength of the company.

The company has a number of satisfied customers in the country. The first export order was executed in 1998.

Stud craft (India) Pvt. Ltd. wwas awarded the ISO - 9002 Quality System Certificate in the year 1998. In the year 2000, QS 9000 Certificate was achieved. In the year 2004, ISO / TS - 16949 - 2002 was also achieved.

This includes import of sophisticated machinery which will produce almost finished products, accurately, reducing manual handling. These machine will have high rates of production to meet demands on time. In also includes Quality Control equipments for increasing online & outgoing products.
